Music in the Park with Miss Flora | Lost River Cave

Join Miss Flora on Saturday afternoons for family music classes at Lost River Cave! This interactive children's concert series includes 45 minute classes filled with movement, instruments, connection, and fun for babies and children and their families. There is no age limit, but this program is intended for babies and children ages 3 months - 5 years. That being said, I will be bringing my 8 year old along, so older children are welcome as well! There is no charge for these classes, but donations are appreciated.

As these family classes will take place outdoors under changing trees and autumnal skies, it's the perfect time to celebrate the coming autumn season. Lessons will include songs about falling leaves, growing trees, seasonal animals, hayrides, apple orchards, and of course, a not-so-spooky Halloween-themed class on the 26th!

Classes will take place on Saturdays in the prarie next to the Greenway trail (back of the gravel lot). Classes are weather-dependent and will not be rescheduled, and can be cancelled due to rain or severe weather. Those who have RSVPed will receive updates. I suggest bringing along a blanket to sit on, water, a snack, and bug spray/sunscreen if you so desire. I will provide musical instruments and silk scarves for children to use during class. I have a limitied number of supplies, so only ten spots are open for each class! RSVP at the link so I know who plans on attending!
